3D Printing & Hard Surface Modeling

In this course, you will be able to learn the basics of 3D printing and hard-surface modeling in ZBrush. Modeling techniques will be taught to you in step-by-step video tutorials, we will look at the process of character development, concept creation and form language. We will consider what makes 3D printing successful, how to model a character without problematic areas for printing, how to divide your model into parts and prepare it for printing. After which we will proceed directly to exporting the optimized model and cleaning.
Throughout the course, we will use the new functionality of ZBrush 2019, such as folder optimization, live bulin, customizing brushes to use and speed up your workflow. After that we will look at the ZModeler brush, starting with the basics and finishing with advanced techniques. The course is designed for everyone, from beginners to advanced artists, who want to hone their hard-surface modeling skills and learn about 3D printing.
