In this class for every level, we will explore painting quick and easy watercolor branches, berries, and leaves - oh my! We will take these 3 simple elements and create beautiful backgrounds for holiday cards, or they can even be framed and used as gifts or decor..
First, we will talk about supplies, and warm up with the techniques we will be using in this class.
Then, I will demonstrate 4 different paintings! Plus, 2 bonus paintings!!
We will start with a painting that includes all three of the elements we practiced. I will share helpful tips and techniques along the way. I will also take some time to discuss the painting in process, and deciding what needs to be changed, if anything.
For the next 3 paintings, we will create a variety of compositions using the berries, branches, and leaves. If you are short on time, after watching the video for Painting 1, feel free to choose just one of the other paintings to watch and create. I hope you will discover how combining simple elements in a single painting can create beautiful art.
Your lovely paintings will make great holiday or Christmas cards, and are great for framing!!
