Get ready to fly! In this Level 3, 20-minute advanced vinyasa class by Shayna, you’ll focus on strengthening the core and the arms to get into some classic arm balances.
Flow from Crow Pose into handstand, with other yoga postures including Side Crow, Flying Pigeon, and Firefly. Side Crow, or parsva bakasana, is an arm balance pose that strengthens the wrist, forearms, and abdomen while improving balance. Flying Pigeon Pose, or eka pada galavasana, is a challenging posture that strengthens the wrists, shoulders, arms, and core while stretching the hips and legs. Firefly, or tittibhasana, is another challenging posture designed to stretch the inner groins, abdomen, and back torso while strengthening the arms and wrists, and improving sense of balance.
These poses are not for beginners, so if still at the start of your practice, wait until you feel confident and strong enough to attempt them. Join Shayna on this 20-minute journey, and remember to bring your wings!
