This is a documentary about Warsaw and the process of its destuction and rebuliding of the city.
The film is based on unique movie material from the Second World War (with some material filmed by the Polish army during the Warsaw Uprising in 1944).
It shows the destruction of the Polish capital, which was also part of communist propaganda - 75 % of the buildings were destoyed by the German army and by order from Hitler it was supposed to vanish forever.
