The gradual transition to install.esd is caused by an increase in the volume of updates that need to be integrated into the assembly, as a result, in the current Windows 7 x64 build, the install.wim file exceeds 4 GB, and the build image exceeds 4.38 GB, which does not allow writing it to DVD5. Thus, you have two options for assembly. Choose the one that you prefer, otherwise they are exactly the same.
