The missing start menu for macOS
If the launchpad of macOS is too bulky and confusing for you, start is the right choice. start is a start menu for macOS and allows you to quickly find and structure your programs.

## Structuring Apps with Tags ##
With start you can assign tags to applications. So you don't have to search for the right application.

## Several tags per app ##
An application can be easily assigned to multiple tags.

## Group apps, directories and files with tags ##
You can also assign directories and files to a tags. For example, if you are currently working on a project, you can simply assign a tag to the necessary folders, files and programs - by selecting the tag you will have access to it later on.

## Requirements ##
start was developed for macOS 10.13 (and newer) and uses Spotlight internally to search for applications.
For start to work, Spotlight must be enabled and also capture applications (this is the normal setting of macOS)

Release Notes

For Start v4.3 we mainly worked on the performance. But also some optical improvements have been included in the update: The main window got a more modern look and the icons are now displayed in their native resolution of 48 pixels. Since this might look a bit opulent on small screens, you can now choose between two size settings in the configuration.

New functions
• The size of the entries in the main window can now be selected between "Normal" and "Small"
• Visual adjustments to the main window.
• A new category was added: Active Applications (Shows all currently open applications and switches between them).

Bugfixes
• When the window was detached from the menu bar, not all resources were released afterwards.
• Performance optimizations.

Supported Operation System
• 64-bit processor
• macOS 10.13 or later
