VA - Music For Dreams, Best Of 2025 (2025)

The Music For Dreams stamp is pretty much a guarantee of quality - their logo on an album is visual shorthand for "downtempo and Balearic grooves done well". But while that's true, saying so also does the label something of a disservice - because it fails to take into account the degree of musical variety you'll find across the Music For Dreams catalogue as whole. This 'Best Of 2025' helps address that potential misconception by packing almost as many soulful, uplifting house and disco nuggets and wonky jazz strutters as it does mellow poolside headnodders and slices of fragile, dreamy loveliness. All told, it's something of a triumph...
