Hannah Gill & The Hours, a duo that combines 70s lo-fi pop and rock with contemporary soul and blues.
The group is fronted by 18-year old vocal powerhouse and songwriter Hannah Gill. Their EP The Water is a collection of songs inspired by Hannah’s transition from a small town to New York City. Brought together by their shared love of many musical genres and styles, Hammonds and Gill initially connected through a family friend, who felt their sensibilities and improvisational approach to songwriting and performing would click. Featuring lush vocals and sparkling fretwork, the duo’s hypnotic recordings and dynamic performances offering otherworldly gravity.
