This is the fourth in a series of annual collections dedicated to presenting the most striking and original science-fiction of our time. No stories in New Dimensions have ever been published before. New Dimensions is edited by Robert Silverberg, himself one of science-fiction’s best-known writers, author of such novels as The World Inside, A Time of Changes, and Downward to the Earth. Mr. Silverberg has won science fiction’s prized Hugo and Nebula awards a number of times and is a past president of the Science Fiction Writers of America.
