Not only is this book great for kids who want to learn about how the body needs certain nutrients, but it's also great for adults who need to spruce up their diet. It teaches us about every aspect of food from the farm to the sewer, literally! After looking at the section about how animals are turned into food with my son, I'm not so sure he will be eating much meat anymore. I don't think he realized his chicken nuggets came from real chickens…lol.
