My name is Marshall S. Thomas and I am the author of the six-part Soldier of the Legion science fiction series, set in the far future, and also a second series, Prophet of ConFree. I recently completed writing the sixth book in the second series which will be published in a few months.
I love writing and write for the sheer joy of it. I was turned on to science fiction in the late ’50s as a teenager and wanted to write SF from that moment. I didn’t have the skills to do it until my early 40s when I began the first series. I had almost completed the series when it dawned on me that I had put so much work into it that I really should try to have it published. An astonishing number of rejection letters followed but as I improved my writing and did plenty of rewriting I finally found my first publisher in Timberwolf Press. I’ve had other publishers since then, but at present I am independently publishing my books.

Heather Brewer is the pseudonym of Zac Brewer…but you can call him Z.
Zac is the NYT bestselling author of The Chronicles of Vladimir Tod series, as well as The Slayer Chronicles series, Soulbound, The Cemetery Boys, The Blood Between Us, and more short stories than he can recall.
He grew up on a diet of Twilight Zone and books by Stephen King. He chased them down with every drop of horror he could find—in books, movie theaters, on television. The most delicious parts of his banquet, however, he found lurking in the shadowed corners of his dark imagination. When he’s not writing books, he’s skittering down your wall and lurking underneath your bed. Zac doesn’t believe in happy endings…unless they involve blood.
He lives in Missouri with his husband, two children, and four furry overlords that some people refer to as “cats”.

David Pilling was born in West Wales, where he lived for eighteen years imbibing tales of the Mabinogion and Arthurian legend, as well as dragging his parents up and down ruined castles. This history and fairy tale-fixated childhood, along with early exposure to The Once and Future King, sparked his imagination and stuffed it full of castles, kings, knights, swords and jousts etcetera. After a lengthy stint working in various archives in London, including Tate Britain and The Royal Opera House, he is now back in Wales and settled down to write as many historical and epic fantasy tales as his mind can churn out.
